Elly Lakes in a Nutshell
Creative. Imaginative. Visionary. But also down-to-earth and well organized. Passionate about communication, I love working with words and images, finding always new strategies to convey compelling messages.
My heart and soul are Italian, my education is Swiss. I was born in Italy, in August 1991. I moved to Switzerland when I was a kid, where I graduated with a Master of Science in Communication in September 2015. I studied Graphic Design in London, during the summer of 2017. I challenged myself by moving to Tokyo, in January 2018, where I studied the language and worked part time. Now I live there and work full time.
My work experiences mirror my studies: PR and promotion, university lectures assistant, social media and websites management, articles and newsletters writing, image and video editing, surveys and research coordination, corporate presentations creation, and event management. I started my own project, Elly Lakes, during October 2017. It spans from blog articles to social media, radio, and TV programs.
I love travelling. I visited and lived in different countries in Europe, America, and Asia. As a result, I have expanded my knowledge of English, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish so far.
